I did not know that you were such a prolific poet. Very impressive. I remember your old Oriskany site. It was the first place I landed when something inside of me decided to reconnect with old Navy mates. We made a valient attempt to save Oriskany, I actually got a pledge from the Brooklyn Borough President of $2Million for preparing a dock for her in Brooklyn. Alas, the Navy put an end to those attempts when they pronounced the ship too far gone to be renovated. Now we are trying to get the next available unnamed nuclear super carrier named Oriskany. I say 'available' because the Enterprise shipmates have established a petition to get the next CVN CVN-79) named Enterprise. CVN-79 will be commissioned in 2019. CVN-80 is our target. It will be commissioned in 2023. And that inspired our motto, Oriskany in 23! Please visit our petition website and sign the petition: http://oriskany.epetitions.net/.
